Is “very well mind always” -A wish for you?

From little setbacks to major calamities, stress is an unavoidable part of life. While you may not have complete control over your circumstances, you do have control over how you respond to them. Stress can have a detrimental influence on your health if it is severe or prolonged.

According to various studies and research, work is the primary source of stress for many and sometimes people are clueless in trying to find out an option to overcome it. Another shocking finding of the time survey is that Indians spend less than one-tenth of a day on leisure, and women, in particular, have significantly less leisure time than men. Self-employed and even salaried men and women are projected to spend more than six days each week on work-related activities. Workplace stress can originate from a number of sources. A demanding higher authority, annoying coworkers, resistant students, irate clients, hazardous and difficult working circumstances, long commutes, or an infinite workload are all possibilities. Work performance can be harmed by stressors such as family ties, economics, and a lack of sleep brought on by worrying about the future. Working too much might harm your emotional and physical health. You’re more likely to experience negative health consequences. Neck, back, or chest discomfort, stroke, coronary heart disease, type 2 diabetes, and anxiety are only a few of them. How you deal with the effects of work stress depends on whether it is easier to change the situation or change your attitude towards it.

While there are other ways to lower workplace stress, such as daily work prioritization, organizing, and the ability to say no when necessary etc., physical exercise is at the top of the list. When you exercise, your body releases endorphins, which relieve tension among other things. According to study, even 10 minutes of exercise can help you improve your physical and mental health quickly. You are better ready to manage yourself and your staff and deal with problems emotionally sensibly when you are less stressed. You are less impatient, have more mental focus and inventiveness, and can better prioritize chores because you can think more clearly.

If you’re short on time, try high-intensity interval training (HIIT) or an app that provides quick, uncomplicated, on-the-go exercises that you can do almost anywhere. HIIT workouts raise your heart rate quickly and effectively. If the thought of squeezing exercise into your schedule makes you nervous, it’s an indication that you need to make some changes to reduce your stress levels.

We’re all aware that we should be exercising at least once a week. How often do you meet your fitness objectives, even with modern technologies like Fitbit and applications like Strava? Knowing all the advantages of regular exercise still it’s too easy to put off exercising saying we don’t have enough time. If you don’t like going to the gym, pick a path that takes you around the block at work. Instead of taking the elevator, take the stairs three times a week. Workplace workouts or atleast planning for short exercises everyday can help with reducing stress, staying healthy , improving job performance, productivity, and the overall positive atmosphere.

Stay Healthy & fit & wish you a very well mind always
